Have you traveled to any countries around the world recently? Would you like an easy way to keep track of your country visits over the past and future years? This app keeps track of the countries that you and other family members and friends have visited, and also allows input of optional details that should be useful to you in the future. Includes the following features:

• Universal app with native iPad support!

• Select any of the 400+ countries, island territories, separated lands, and other entities.

• Allows unlimited number of travelers’ names.

• Enter a country/entity visit for yourself and other people at the same time.

• Keeps track of the countries/entities each person has traveled to.

• Counts countries, and now also island territories, separated lands and other entities separately.

• Automatically shows the current year and you can choose past years.

• Includes optional month selector, or just leave it blank if you don’t remember.

• Duration is per number of the days, weeks, months or years. You can keep track of where you lived in the past, instead of just vacations.

• Allows you to input text notes about your visit, such as the region, city, town, village, district, neighborhood, or anything else.

• Allows you to edit any past visit’s details.

• Sort your countries/entities visited by alphabetical or year/month.

• Now with zoomable maps! Pinch to zoom in and out. Use Wi-Fi or cell connection to see standard, satellite and hybrid maps. (When network is unavailable, you should see the map from your last Wi-Fi or cell connection).

• Pins mark near the center of each country/entity that you have visited.

• Supports iCloud for iOS device backup and restore. Be sure to turn it on in the Settings app / iCloud / Documents & Data / On.

• Now includes export and import of your database file. Use this to backup and restore, and to copy your database onto another iOS device.

Notes:

• A future update is planned to allow iCloud syncing of data between your multiple devices.

• The intent of this app is to keep track of Countries and also some common or large island territories, separated lands, and other entities per each person. If you want to keep track of cities, counties, districts, regions, etc., you can input more text detail into any visit.

• App Store reviews are welcome. But if you have any issues, please use the Contact Us in the apps "?" Info tab to send a message so that we can follow up and help solve it. Issues may be related to the type of device (iPhone/iPod Touch vs. iPad), iOS version, and app version.

Pros and cons of Countries Visited • World Travel Log app for iPhone and iPad

Countries Visited • World Travel Log app good for

The user interface is extremely simple to use and there is just enough data input fields without going overboard. Multiple users options is great, as is the map function. Ill be using this app to track my travels for years to come.
Like: list of countries seems more "official" than other apps; lets you log dates for each visit; allows for multiple travelers. Room for improvement: would be nice if map wasnt pushpin style but rather colored the whole country youve visited. Overall: very functional app

Some bad moments

A solid app to help you remember all of the places you have traveled to.
See my review for the app by the same developer for USA Travel Log - States Visited. Invaluable for the person who likes to keep track of where they have been. This is the perfect app for someone like me who likes to document everything! Easy interface. Very easy to use. Nice feature is the ability to send yourself an email of all data you have entered. (sort of like a backup) KUDOS to the developer. Keep up the good work and updates.
This app is awful- theres not even a map to show you everywhere youve been- its just a list. I could have written this list on the notes app and not paid 4 bucks for it. Also, why just countries? How about everywhere Ive been? This list makes me feel uninteresting.
This app lacks two of the most important things! -A map of highlighted countries you have visited -On the home page it tells you how many independenent countries there are and the number of countries, territories and other entities, but does not separate it out on the traveller. It just tells you how many territories the traveller has visited, which is pointless when you want to see how many independent countries. The point of the app is to count countries and it CANT EVEN DO THAT!!! It just counts territories!!! Which even Alaska is considered a territory and a different country!! This stupid APP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Comment: This app is well-suited for my global travel with a clear purpose. This is one of the best apps for tracking your global travel. The homepage is attractive. The graphics are pleasing. The app provides useful travel information that suits me. I would highly recommend this app to a friend or colleague.
Nicely designed, but should allow cities, not just countries (from someone who has traveled a lot in Russia).
